Rosales

Rosales is an order containing around nine families, 260 genera and 7700 species. The largest family in the Rosales order is Rosaceae which is made up of three clades that were not given taxonomic rank. The most popular flowering plants belonging to the order are peaches, apples, blackberries, raspberries, pears, plums, figs, cannabis, strawberries, and roses. Many of the species in this order are cultivated for there fruit, medicinal properties and ornamental uses making Rosales one of the most economically important orders of flowering plants.
