Zantedeschia Aethiopica otherwise known as Calla Lilies is a species of flower that grows up to 3 feet tall. They are perennials that commonly have white flowers and a bright yellowish color at the spadix. The leaves are dark green and the stems are thick and strong. Native to southern Africa they have been naturalized along the coast in California and in Australia. Austalia has deemed them a toxic pest. They prefer to be in streams and ponds or on banks very near water. They have a sweet not so strong fragrance.
